K3 Tent Camper For Sale

If I could, I’d keep everything I build. But I don’t have the room for that. So to make room for the next project, I’m selling build 2 of the K3 tent camper. It is located in Fort Myers, FL. It is brand new. I’m asking $2,500

The camper has an empty weight of 265 lbs. When opened, it has a standing/sitting area and a full size bed area that measures 45” W x 78” L. The box is made from ¾” marine grade plywood. The tent is constructed with acrylic-coated polyester and marine vinyl materials that are UV resistant and have an anti-mildew coating. The exterior is finished with a high quality auto vinyl.

I call this a “solo senior” design because I wanted to build something specifically for a person who doesn’t have the strength to set up some of the heavier tent campers on the market. The lid is the heaviest part of the set up process and that weighs about 28 lbs. It is “hinged weight” so it is easier to control.

My first build on this design has about 2,000 miles and 20 camp nights. I do still consider this an experimental design and so I feel I am obligated to say that you “tow at your own risk, your mileage may vary, batteries not included, etc.” It would handle well behind any vehicle with limited towing capacity like a trike, Spyder, Prius, a Subaru, or a small SUV.
